Amazing Spaces Named Top-Operator: 2011 Inside Self Storage Top 100 List
Inside Self Storage magazine listed Amazing Spaces® Storage Centers as a Top-Operator of 2011.The list features the industry’s top 100 largest US operators ranked by total rentable square footage.
Of the approximately 50,000 self storage facilities in the nation, there is a combined total of roughly 2.22 billion square feet of rentable storage space according to the Self Storage Association’s most recent fact sheet. Houston-based Amazing Spaces rises to the top with three company-run properties totaling 2,100 self storage units which contain 274,280 square feet of rentable storage space. Amazing Spaces is currently developing its fourth and largest property yet. This property will be opening soon in Houston’s Medical Center and will add an additional 141,942 square feet of storage space and over 800 units.
