Vehicle Organization Tips

Considering how much time we spend in our vehicles these days, we should probably try to make them as comfortable and organized as possible to fit our needs. Below are a few tips for how to organize the inside of your vehicle:

  1. Clean up any trash- The first step in any cleaning process is to throw out the trash. If you’re one of those people who eats on the go or you just find that you accumulate a lot of unnecessary odds and ends (pamphlets, extra straws, flyers, etc.) in your vehicle, you may want to consider setting up a small trash bin inside your car. You can put all of your trash in this and empty it as needed! Tip: wipe down all surfaces and vacuum during this step as well.car trash bin2. Organize your papers- After the clutter cleanup comes organization and that starts with the essential items in your glove box. Items such as your vehicle registration, insurance papers, any important personal medical info, emergency contact numbers, etc. You can organize these papers any way you’d prefer, but we recommend just using a cheap coupon organizer with labels for each category.paper organizer3. Organize your backseat- If you’re organizing for kids, you can purchase cheap organizers which hang from your front seat (or organizers which sit in the middle seat) to store things like snacks, wet wipes, games and toys, DVDs, etc. Even if you don’t have kids, you can use organizers to store things like car cleaning wipes, personal snacks, magazines, etc.backseat-organizer-car-organization4. Organize your trunk- Your trunk is a great place to store useful items such as a medical emergency kit and essential car repair items. You can also purchase folding organizer bins for groceries and shopping bags.
